Together, we're transforming young lives.

Help us support young people
At Northorpe Hall Child + Family Trust, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported. Too many young people in Kirklees and across West Yorkshire are struggling with their mental health alone — and that’s where our community steps in.
By lending a hand, you can help provide life-changing support for children, young people, and their families when they need it most. From one-to-one mentoring and wellbeing workshops to safe spaces where young people can simply talk and be heard, your support makes it all possible.
There are lots of ways to get involved. You could offer your time as a volunteer, raise funds or make a donation, or help out at one of our community events. Whatever you choose, you’ll be giving young people the chance to thrive.
Remember: No special experience is needed, just your willingness to make a difference!

Volunteering for our young people
Giving your time is one of the most powerful ways to lend a hand to young people and families in our community.
Volunteers help us create safe, welcoming spaces where children and young people feel listened to and supported. You might help at events, support emotional wellbeing activities, or share your skills behind the scenes. Whatever you choose, your contribution matters.
No prior experience is needed — just your enthusiasm, kindness, and commitment to making a positive impact.
Every hour you give helps us be there for those who need us most in Kirklees and West Yorkshire.
Help raise vital funds
Making a donation or fundraising on our behalf is another way to lend a hand and ensure our services reach the children and families who need them.
From dress-up days to school or workplace fundraisers, there are so many ways to get involved. Every pound raised goes directly into providing vital support — whether that’s one-to-one mentoring, wellbeing workshops, or simply offering a safe place to talk.
Your support makes a real difference, helping us continue our work in Kirklees and across West Yorkshire.
We’re proud to have achieved the Kirklees Volunteering Quality Award, recognising our commitment to providing a positive and supported volunteering experience.
