Supporting Children and Young People
You don’t have to face things on your own...
At Northorpe, we support children and young people from the ages of 5 to 25.
We offer safe, supportive spaces where you can talk, be listened to, and get help with whatever you’re going through.
Whether things feel overwhelming, confusing, or just a bit too much right now - we’re here to help.
How we can support you:

More ways we support:
Group Support
Some young people prefer support in a group setting.
We run group sessions, workshops, and projects that focus on wellbeing, confidence, and connection with others.
Recently, those have included:
Looked After Children
We also provide therapeutic support for children and young people aged up to 21 who are in the care of their local authority.

This support focuses on emotional wellbeing and helps young people develop positive, trusting relationships with the people around them.

This service is funded by Kirklees.
Not sure what support is right for you?
That’s okay.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need before getting in touch — we can talk it through together and help you find the right support.
A message for parents, carers, and professionals:
If you’re a parent, carer, or professional looking for support for a child or young person, we’re here to help.
Our team can discuss the most appropriate support options and guide you through next steps.
Remember: Your wellbeing matters to us.
All our services are delivered in a safe, supportive way.
What you share with us is confidential unless there is a serious concern about safety, in which case we’ll always explain what happens next and support you through it.
