We’re recruiting: Two paid trainee roles at Northorpe

At Northorpe, our team is passionate about supporting neurodivergent children, young people and their families, and we’re always looking for people who want to learn, grow and make a difference.

Right now, we have two exciting opportunities to join the team as a trainee practitioner. Both are full-time, paid positions, offering the chance to develop your skills and experience while working within a specialist service supporting neurodivergent young people and their families.

The two roles are:

• Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner

This role is an opportunity to develop your practice in systemic family work, while learning alongside our experienced team.

• Trainee Specialist Practitioner – Learning Disability and Autism

This role offers the opportunity to develop specialist practice supporting autistic children and young people and those with learning disabilities.

Both roles are Band 5 trainee posts, moving to Band 6 on successful completion.

Who might these roles suit?

If you already have a core therapeutic profession and are looking to develop your experience within a specialist service, these could be an exciting next step.

We can also consider people without an existing core therapeutic profession who have significant relevant experience working within mental health services. There’s a route through the PTTC Course Evidence Readiness Task (CERT) to demonstrate your experience and identify any gaps in training.
