The festive season is all about coming together, sharing smiles, and making memories—but for some young people, it can feel a bit lonely. That’s why, here at Northorpe, we’re launching our Christmas 2025 campaign to bring a little extra magic to the holidays.

This year, our campaign has two main elements: the Festive Fayre and the Holiday Hampers appeal—each designed to celebrate, support, and most importantly, let young people feel in Kirklees and West Yorkshire know they're valued.
Festive Fayre: Fun, Festivities, and Family-Friendly Magic
So, mark your calendars for Saturday 29th November 2025, and join us from 11am to 3pm!
Our Festive Fayre will be a free, fun-filled event for the whole family, packed with festive cheer. And the activities will be taking over our whole site, including the Hall, the Barn, and the garden, with a little help from Forest School Born Explorers.
Here’s a sneak peek at what’s happening:
Santa’s Grotto: Meet the big man himself! (Places will be limited, so make sure your book your visit as soon as you arrive!)
Storytime: Join the Northorpe team to hear some magical tales in the Hall.
Games & Activities: Tombolas, face painting, temporary tattoos, and lots of Christmas crafts to choose from.
Food & Treats: From jacket potatoes with festive toppings to hot dogs, pigs in blankets, and a hog roast courtesy of Greedy Little Pig.
Stalls Galore: Cakes, sweets, ceramics, beauty products, 3D-printed decorations, and even a West Yorkshire Fire Engine!

To help bring lots of joy to this amazing event, we're asking for donations to the Northorpe Christmas campaign. Items we're looking for include bottles (from shampoo to champagne!), chocolates, cakes and gift vouchers and can be dropped off at Northorpe Hall during opening hours before Wednesday 26th November.
We really hope you can join us for a day that’s all about fun, laughter, and bringing the local community together for a good cause - transforming young lives, all year round!
